Like most Jazzmasters the stock bridge is a real weak point on what is otherwise a great guitar. My Squire Vintage Modified Jazzmaster has the same common complaint that the bridge vibrates itself to pieces. Literally as you play all the screws loosen and the bridge drops and all the saddles come lose. So I bought the English manufactured Stay Trem replacement, as used byJohnny Marr amongst many others. It’s a simple straight swap. The Stay Trem bridge just drops in. It comes pre radiused so only requires a small adjustment to the height to set the action, and the any saddle adjustment for intonation. Absolutely brilliant.
